airPetStays Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to us airPetStays, we, us or our) Privacy Policy must be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions .

airPetStays may from time to time collect your personal information to enable it to provide its services and to enable you to access the services offered by airPetStays. airPetStays and its affiliates may share this personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy. The personal information collected by airPetStays or its affiliates may be combined to provide and improve our products, services, content and advertising.

Whilst the provision of the personal information is not compulsory, failing to provide the requested personal information may prevent you from accessing the products and services offered by us.

What personal information we collect

We collect a variety of information including contact information such as your name, mailing address, email address, contact preferences, telephone numbers, financial information such as bank account details and credit card information and detailed personal information such as your date of birth , home address as well as details about your pets including medical history and photos in order to enable you to access the products and services we offer and to enable us to provide the products and services we offer.

The personal information is collected when you create an Account and or Listing either as an Owner or a Sitter. The personal information on your Profile and Listing may be viewed by the public. Accordingly you should consider the type of information you upload on your Listing and Profile bearing in mind it can be viewed by the public.

How we use personal informations

The personal information we collect allows us to provide you with your required product or service, keep you posted on our latest products or services, upcoming events and to send promotional and marketing material. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list to receive such communication, you can opt out anytime by updating your preferences on our Site or by following the instructions provided in any of those communications.

We also use personal information to help us create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our products, services, content and advertising, and for loss prevention and anti-fraud purposes.

We may use your personal information, including date of birth, to verify identity, assist with identification of users, and to determine appropriate services. For example, we may use date of birth to determine the age of airPetStays Account holders.

You may request to access your personal information held by us at any time and on your request we will provide you with such access within a reasonably practicable time free of charge.

If you wish to edit your personal information you have provided to us, you may do so my directly contacting us at customerservice@airpetstays.com or accessing your Account and updating your Account settings and Profile. If we refuse access or fail to correct your personal information as per your request, we will notify you of our reasons for the refusal.

If you close your Account at any time, we may retain your personal information collected and stored for some time to enable us to collect any outstanding fees, resolve disputes, assist with any investigation, prevent fraud or as required and permitted by law.
